At Birth and Baby Kneads we are aware and understand the needs of new families in the beginning of life. This group will provide a time and opportunity to share and connect with other new moms. Each facilitated meeting by our parent expert will focus on topics that are important to new families during the first year of life together. join us as we gather to share this special time of life in the comfort and safe community of other support women.

Taking Care of Mom
Congratulations, Mom! Baby is finally here. And now that your new addition has arrived, Mom's body is going through many changes. Join us as we help new moms to ease into exercise through gentle stretching and hip closing movements that help mom find and maintain inner strength and peace of mind, body and spirit. By taking care of mom, we take care of the entire family.

Calming, Comforting and Understanding your Newborn
Understanding the beginning of life can be very confusing for first time parents. This class will focus on newborn development, cues and cries, sleep, digestion and taking care of the new family. Parents are encouraged to come to this class early in the fourth trimester. Please bring your newborn and join other new parents as we discuss and learn about the awesome and sometimes exhausting Fourth Trimester of life!

Baby Massage
This five week comprehensive baby massage class will teach essential techniques for massaging your baby - to help both of you bond, relax and sleep better! Studies show that babies that are massaged sleep longer and more deeply, tend to have less gas and digestion discomfort and tend to be calm babies.
Research also shows that practicing massage:
- Enhances bonding
- Emotionally and spiritually nourishes baby
- Increases parental confidence as they learn to understand their babies' "cues and cries"

Every infant enjoys playing and interacting with their parents and caregiver. This is their way of learning. In fact, parents are their child's first teacher and playmate. Through play, the child is able to grow and develop their brain, motor skills and communication skills. This class has been created and developed exclusively for Birth and Baby Kneads, LLC. by a child life/recreational infant specialist with over 25 years of experience. Katie brings many years of experience and expertise to the our families. This class is perfect for any baby during the first year of life...all babies are welcome!

Baby SignsŪ Parent Workshop
Babies can use simple signs to communicate often a full year before they can speak. Sign, Say and Play Classes
A series of 6 them-based classes offered over a 6-week period, with 45 minute session designed for parents and babies to attend together. A total of 37 useful signs are taught through fun songs, books and activities. in addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby's intellectual development-tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn's second parenting book, Baby Minds: Barin Buiilding Games Your Baby Will Love.
