Congratulations on this very exciting and significant time of life. We are so glad you have found Birth and Baby Kneads. We are a resource for you where you can find support, education and information throughout your pregnancy and beyond. We are always available to answer questions and share ideas and information.
Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which families can learn, connect with others, share and grow. Our mission is to educate and empower women and families in their personal choices and experiences in their pregnancy and parenting journey. We offer evidence-based, unbiased education and information so that parents are better prepared for pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and the first year of life with their baby.
The idea of Birth and Baby Kneads was "conceived" after teaching for years in hospitals, office buildings, community centers and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Thanks to the strong network of pediatricians, obstetricians, mid-wives and birth professionals, Birth and Baby Kneads opened in June 2007. Located at the Wellness Village at Starling, our beautiful space offers comfort, tranquility and peace to all that enter.

If calling is more convenient for you, we can by reached at 804-240-6779 from 10a - 1:30p and 3p - 6:30p, Monday through Friday. Weekend calls will be returned on Monday morning unless you need urgent help. Please know that if we do not answer, we may be helping another client or in a class or meeting, so please leave us a message so that we can return your call as soon as possible.

Birth and Baby Kneads is located in the near west-end of Richmond and provides education and support for women and families from conception through the first year of life with their baby.
